The exhibition explores diverse ways of perceiving the world: from the recording of emotions, through the abstract structures of matter, to metaphysical intuitions. The artist avoids literal narrative and illustrative language, building his images from personal experience, memory, and imagination.

The curator of the exhibition, Dr Rafał Syska, and the exhibition space designer, Prof. Tomasz Wójcik, have created an evocative, artistic narrative about the film and its director. Lalka (The Doll, 1968) is the largest and most Warsaw-centric production in Has’s oeuvre, featuring unforgettable performances by Mariusz Dmochowski, Beata Tyszkiewicz and Tadeusz Fijewski.
