Here are some basic information and rules applicable at our Gallery:
- To reach the Kordegarda Gallery at 15 Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, you can use public transportation:
- Trams: Lines 13, 20, 23, 26, 4 – get off at the “Krakowskie Przedmieście 01” or “Krakowskie Przedmieście 02” stops (approximately 600 meters to the Gallery).
- Buses: Lines 160, 190 – get off at the “Krakowskie Przedmieście 01” or “Krakowskie Przedmieście 02” stops (approximately 600 meters to the Gallery).
- Metro: Line M1 – get off at the “Nowy Świat-Uniwersytet” station (approximately 500 meters to the Gallery).
Near the Gallery, you will find two parking spaces for people with disabilities, located 60 meters across Krakowskie Przedmieście Street, by the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
The Kordegarda Gallery building houses an exhibition hall, the NCK bookstore, and an information desk.
Enter the Gallery through the main entrance on Krakowskie Przedmieście Street. The Gallery is located on the ground floor. The entrance doors are heavy, and there is a small threshold in front of them. If you need assistance opening the doors, please ring the bell on the right side; our staff will be happy to help.
After entering the building, you will find yourself in a glass vestibule. Turn left to enter the exhibition hall, bookstore, and information desk.
You are welcome to enter with an assistance dog or a guide dog.
While visiting the exhibitions, you can listen to audio recordings describing selected artworks.
During your visit, please maintain silence. Do not bring food, drinks, or items that may pose a threat to the exhibits or other visitors.
Please follow the instructions and guidelines provided by the Gallery staff.
Please note that your image may be recorded by security cameras or during events.
During your visit, you may take photographs of the exhibits for personal use only. Other types of photography require permission from the National Centre for Culture. Flash, tripods, and other photographic equipment may only be used with prior approval from the Gallery staff.
There are no restroom facilities available at the Gallery.
The Gallery does not provide access to induction loops, Braille signage, high-contrast signs, enlarged print, or sign language interpretation.
On our website, you can use the font size and contrast adjustment features. Additionally, to ensure full access to our materials, we regularly publish alternative descriptions for images and audio descriptions.
