The work of Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński (1921–1944) eludes time. The poet deals with universal themes, progress and modernity, and asks questions about the role of the individual and society. In the following volumes of poems, we see him growing up and admire how he loves. Finally, Baczyński describes in a unique way the emotions, fears, hopes and desires that accompany growing up. On the hundredth anniversary of the poet's birth, we invited young people to interpret his work through the prism of personal experiences and emotions, from the here and now perspective. As a result, we received over 1,100 competition applications, constituting a dialogue of contemporary teenagers with our ancestors, whose generational experiences Baczyński saved from oblivion thanks to his work. We invite you to view the awarded and distinguished photos. Their authors and authors show that Baczyński, who tragically died in the Warsaw Uprising 78 years ago, is a timeless poet.Opening of the exhibition: July 28 at 11:00 amDuration: July 28 – August 13Organizers: Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, Fundacja na rzecz Wielkich Historii, National Center for CulturePatron of the exhibition: Foundation PGE SA
